SOMA Guide
Every year the MDGLCC prints its “Support our Members Always” (SOMA) Membership Directory & Resource Guide; the most important LGBT & Allied community resource directory available in South Florida from which to plan, purchase and/or select service providers.  This guide is distributed to over 130 locations in South Florida every month.  In addition, this book is distributed at all of the MDGLCC’s events and included in the gift bags at many of our more prestigious community LGBT events that take place throughout the year.  With over 20,000 in print, there are plenty to go around.

Online Directory Profile
Promote your business on our website with your own business directory profile page. Your profile page reflects your company’s description, representative’s contact information, key search words, hours of operation, directions, and links to your website and social media. You can also post news, jobs, events and specials.  Premium profiles are available to BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD members to enhance their web presence with your own page right on our website including your logo, videos, photos galleries, landing page bullet points, priority in the “search results” area, and much more. These members also receive enhanced visibility within their business category in the printed member directory.

Sponsorship Opportunities
With so many networking events, partnerships, programs, and promotional tools, the MDGLCC has a vast amount of sponsorship opportunities at a variety of pricing levels. From sponsoring an individual event/series or supporting a chamber product throughout the year, sponsorships are a great way to keep your brand exposed to our loyal and powerful marketing segment. Members only newsletter
Every month our members receive an exclusive newsletter full of tips, member highlights, and useful information about enhancing their membership experience.

Social Media
When you become a member you will be announced to the community and Chamber membership on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and in our Plugged-In Chamber Newsletter! Member News and Calendar Events are also posted on our social media.

Introduction of New Members
A Chamber staff member will publicly introduce as a new member at one of our large networking events. Members are also welcomed on social media and in our Plugged-In chamber newsletter.

Wall of Tiles
As a legacy to our pioneering LGBT Visitor Center run by our MDGLCC Foundation Inc., you can have a lasting and visible presence by having your own tile in our Wall of Tiles.  Viewed by thousands each year, this inexpensive marketing opportunity is available exclusively to our Chamber Members. 

Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Openings
New members who choose to and venues with Grand Openings, can request a ribbon cutting ceremony, complete with giant scissors and rainbow ribbon. The ribbon cuttings ceremonies are included in our chamber newsletter, in your member profile and announced on social media.

Chamber Ambassadors
The backbone of the MGDLCC’s volunteer army are our Chamber Ambassadors.  Active at every major event, our team provides those all-important introductions you need to grow your business. Ambassadors also help manage our exclusive “Member’s Business Cards Bulletin Board.” A great way to establish new business contacts or just gain friendships, becoming an Ambassador has its advantages.  If you are interested in becoming an Ambassador contact the MDGLCC at 305-673-4440.

Referrals
If you are in the need of a formal introduction to another Chamber Member(s) to explore business opportunities, we are pleased to provide introductions (via e-mail, website, or in person) on request.

Plugged-In Members News
MDGLCC members in good standing have the opportunity to provide announcements to be included in our weekly “PLUGGED-IN” e-blasts that is sent to our database of 8,500.  With a favorable click-thru rate, PluggedIN is an efficient means to deliver your message to a receptive audience.  Membership levels dictate the amount of weeks per year made available for members to make use of this marketing tool as well as the amount of text / copy and additional elements that can be submitted. Donate Raffle Prizes
Contributing gift certificates or products to raffle at our networking event through a business card drawing helps gives your brand exposure, makes a great impression, and gets patrons in your establishment. If interested you get to draw the winner and tell the audience about your prize.

Advertising Opportunities
GOLD and SILVER members get banner ads on the Chamber’s Website. Additional advertising opportunities are available in our SOMA Directory, our Clarity Magazine and in our Plugged in Newsletter. Members can also buy digital ads at our Annual GALA.

Member Roster
As a benefit to GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE members only we provide an excel sheet with key contact information of all our members which include; business category, company name, address, phone, website, contact(s), e-mail(s).

The MDGLCC is the business voice for the LGBT Community.  The Chamber is part of the Pride Collective Miami who's mission is:

“We are a unified group of South Florida leaders working for the advancement of the LGBTQ community through problem solving, social innovation, and meaningful dialogue, while committing to the growth and support of each other and our organizations.”

We work to promote the projects that benefit our members, their business, and our community. We are our member’s spokespersons to Government and the Greater Miami Community regarding issues that are relevant to gay and lesbian and allied businesses.  The staff of the MDGLCC is engaged in the community and sits on the boards of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Miami Beach Visitor & Convention Authority, Miami Beach Gay Pride, Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, and the LGBT Business Enhancement Committee of Miami Beach. 

We also support the One Community-One Goal program at the Beacon Council and are an affiliate organization to the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.  We support Supplier Diversity by identifying and certifying LGBT owned businesses that are eligible for certification under NGLCC's Supplier Diversity Program.  We support diversity and inclusion in the passage of a fully-inclusive ENDA (Employment Non-Discrimination Act) providing protections for LGBT employees. 

An annual membership in the MDGLCC also includes membership in the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, which works to ensure implementation of pro-business, LGBT-inclusive policies at the federal, state, and local levels of government.
