"Business Storytelling Workshop" Networking Breakfast by Dale Carnegie Training
The Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce invites you to a Networking Breakfast with Dale Carnegie Training on "Storytelling". Humans have been using stories as a form of communication in every culture throughout our history. Our brains are programmed to pay special attention to them, as evidenced by the surge in neural activity, that takes place when we hear a story. They are used to share experiences, promote values, build community, or simply to entertain. Regardless of the story's purpose, choosing to communicate in the form of a story will make you more interesting and memorable.
During this interactive session, attendees will:
1) Use stories to generate excitement and improve business outcomes
2) Apply Dale Carnegie's "magic formula" for clear and engaging stories
3) Practice the art of storytelling to stand out and strengthen rapport
Space is limited to 50 people. RSVP Today! This event will be part of the MDGLCC-U and our YPN (Young Professional Network - a joint initiative with the GVSC (Gay Vista Social Club)) series of events.
