"Miami & The Everglades: It's All About Water" Young Professional Network (YPN) Educational & Social Mixer

Join us on Thursday, November 11th from 6pm - 8pm at our next live event for a fun Educational Social Mixer. Our guest speaker from the Everglades Foundation will speak on "Miami & The Everglades: It's All About Water". The Everglades is essential to Miami's way of life. Eric Eikenberg, CEO of The Everglades Foundation, will give a presentation on the Everglades and the effort to restore and protect it for future generations. This event is sponsored in part by PNC Bank.
This event is geared towards young professional between the ages of 21-39 and is being put together by the Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (MDGLCC)'s Young Professional Network (YPN). Event is open to both members of the Chamber, the Everglades Foundation, and the community at large. Wine & Beer Cash bar with complimentary food bites. Giveaways and raffle for great prizes. Free admission for members, $10 others.
About YPN (Young Professional Network)
The Young Professional Network (YPN) is part of the Miami-Dade Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (MDGLCC) targeting LGBT professionals between the ages of 21-39. The mission of the YPN is to create networking opportunities to connect young professionals to each other, foster collaboration with business leaders and provide educational engagements for young professionals to bridge the gap between generations, to nurture professional development and growth, and create paths to success within the business community. Among the things that the YPN will strive for are: to encourage an atmosphere conducive to attracting additional young professionals to the Miami-Dade area, opportunity to network and meet many other young professionals in the Miami-Dade area, cultivate contacts outside work, provide access to leaders (business, civic, & community) and opportunities to take leadership roles in committees.
