About Us

Lambda Legal is the largest 501(c)3 legal organization fighting to achieve full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people, and everyone living with HIV through impact litigation, education, and public policy work. Our work focuses on protecting, expanding, and defending the rights of these communities. This includes ensuring that LGBTQ+ people and people living with HIV have equal access to healthcare, housing, employment, and other fundamental rights.
