Once a year the Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (MDGLCC) honors corporate and individual supporters of the Miami-Dade LGBT community at its Annual Gala and Awards Celebration.
The honorees are selected for their long-term commitment to fostering diversity, as well as for their efforts in contributing to the overall quality of life in South Florida.
Recognitions include; “Business of the Year Award”, “Business Person of the Year Award”, “Non-Profit Organization of the Year Award”, and “Bob Balsam Civic Achievement Award”. With over 500 people in attendance, the Gala is all about networking with each other and with leaders in the community in a fun and engaging environment. The Gala is the MDGLCC’s principal fundraiser of the year which helps sustain operations and expand the ever-increasing demand for member programming.
