The Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce & GALLA presents its monthly networking program tailored for attorneys, judges and legal professionals held on the middle Wednesday of each month.
Speakers:
Michael G. Murray, P.A., - Marriage fraud bar as it pertains to same sex couples seeking AOS where one spouse was in involved in a prior heterosexual marriage (with visa petition filed).
Mariana R. Ribeiro -Transfers of individuals on employment-based visas with qualifying same-sex marriages, since spouses should be able to qualify for derivative status.
Luis Font - K-1 fiance/fiancee visa process, IV consular processing and AOS in the United States and provide the estimated time frames for each.
Robert Kravitz - Overview of Adjustment Interview and what documents are expected, i.e. financials, bonafides
